Some recent fan mail!

Response Time: Very Fast!
Product Knowledge: Excellent
Overall Experience: Very Satisfied
Consideration of Time: Very Considerate!
Comments: All of the gentlemen in the showroom were courteous and helpful. Mark Hunter answered all of my questions on the phone and Jerrod was excellent in executing the sale. Mark Axelson was enthusiastic and had all the right answers, and the gentleman who did the paperwork was fun to work with. All in all a nice experience as I purchased my first non-Lexus in 20 years! So far, the Highlander Limited is living up to my expectations.

To the whole team at Berlin City:

Thank you for the fantastic experience (again!) of buying a car at Berlin City. Mark Hunter and Jim Robertson really bent over backwards to expedite everything to work within our tight schedule and that was especially appreciated--that WAS "Over the Top Care!
We absoutely love our new Highlander Hybrid Limited and we wish you could have heard the squeals of delight from all three of our kids when they saw it in the driveway...priceless.
Wishing you all the best of Christmas and a successful 2010.
Kind regards,
Kevin and Sarah G.

So I had a customer come in who is a cabinet maker. He looked at my 6 Cylinder 2 Wheel Drive Tundra Regular Cab Long Bed. We drove the truck and he was impressed with the handling and the smooth quiet ride. Then the trouble started when he pulled out the tape measure and declaired that the tail gate cannot close with a sheet of plywood in the back. "The tape don't lie" he said. So I wound up going to Home Depot and here's what I did.

First I had to find some 4x8' OSB, fortunately they had it on sale! Out of my own pocket I plunked down the $6.64 in the name of science. A few short minutes later, I realized why I'm not in the building trades! Eventually I was able to singlehandedly wrestle the OSB into the back of the truck. As I suspected, it can lay flat between the wheel wells even with the drop in bed liner. But the point of contention was this... can the tail gate close without damaging the plywood?
Here is the proof!!!
Disclaimer: No wood or wood products were injured or abused at any time during this experiment. Documentation of purchase and subsequent return of said OSB are on record at Toyota of Portland. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME WITHOUT FIRST PURCHASING YOUR OWN TOYOTA TUNDRA FROM MARK HUNTER!!

The Bill Hart of Bill Hart Plumbing & Heating was in today getting his Tundra Crew Max dressed up! We installed the Sirius Satellite Radio and Remote Starter, he's done the TRD Rear Swaybar, Side Step Bars, Hood Protector and Tonneau. I'll be getting some pics of it once she's all dressed up! He also got the TRD Cold Air Intake installed, I've seen smaller refrigerators!
